Loneliness becomes a difficult problem to cope with, as modern human moves away from collective life and retreats to its personal space. Humanity is still unable to reconcile with this sentiment and hence, loneliness becomes a chronic problem, which is not only abrasive mentally but also destructive physically. And yet, literature fails to provide substantial coping mechanisms with regards to loneliness. According to research, the most efficient way to overcome loneliness is "being heard". From this perspective, art can be considered a coping mechanism.
With Black&White street photographs I tried to show how lonely we are. Even in the crowds we are drowning into the loneliness. I arranged these photos in my graduation thesis of Master of Photography at Marmara University.
